Services designed to assure a safe and healthy environment include monitoring, educating, and regulation of activities in the following areas: all sources of drinking water, Institutional food Service protection, on-site sewage disposal, biomedical waste, public swimming pools and bathing places, children and adult foster care, sources of radiation, zoonotic disease control (diseases spread through animals), mobile home and recreational vehicle parks, occupational health, product safety, and control of disease vectors.
