Broward County Breastfeeding Coalition
The Broward County Breastfeeding Coalition is a countywide multidisciplinary group of individuals, businesses and organizations with the mission: to improve the health of Broward County residents by working collaboratively to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. The coalition provides a forum for individuals and organizations to work together to increase Broward County's rates of initiation and duration of breastfeeding.

Broward Community Planning Partnership (BCPP)

Florida Department of Health in Broward County Outreach Planning Group
The purpose of the Outreach Planning Group (OPG) is to facilitate the coordination of health department participation in community health fairs. OPG meetings serve as a venue for Florida Department of Health in Broward County staff and community partners to share information about upcoming health fairs and community events.

Broward County Healthcare Coalition
The Broward County Healthcare Coalition was developed as a means for hospitals and healthcare organizations to collaborate with one another in regards to emergency planning, response, recovery and mitigation. BCHC is multidisciplinary (law enforcement, fire rescue, emergency management, public health, hospitals, etc) and focuses on communication and partnerships between local, state and federal agencies and organizations. Broward Immunization Action Coalition
The mission of the Broward County Immunization Action Coalition is to develop, implement and monitor immunization strategies that further the goals of providing complete protection against and eventual elimination of vaccine preventable diseases. This is accomplished through the ongoing commitment and collaboration of public and private community based agencies and organizations. Drowning Prevention Task Force of Broward County
The Drowning Prevention Task Force provides a forum for individuals and organizations in Broward County to work together to prevent drowning. HIV/AIDS Hispanic/Latino Committee “Latinos en Acción”
The Hispanic/Latino committee provides a forum for the community to strategize and develop effective responses to challenges in HIV prevention and HIV care. The members of the committee are community leaders, concerned citizens and public health officials that have successfully mobilized the Hispanic Community in Broward County. HIVAIDS Minority Network – Black Advisory Group
The HIV/AIDS Minority Network Black Advisory Group works to provide the following services in our community: identifying funding sources, collaborating on projects, providing technical assistance to local projects, developing seminars and workshops and promoting HIV Counseling and Testing in the community. Nutrition and Fitness Task Force of Broward County
The Nutrition and Fitness Task Force of Broward County is a collaboration of community partners and individuals who are vested in promoting a healthy lifestyle in Broward County by increasing physical activity and good nutrition. Tobacco Coalition of Broward County
The Tobacco Free Partnership of Broward County is a coalition organized to improve the health of Broward County residents by reducing/eliminating tobacco use.
