Medications are provided for the following health conditions and programs:
• HIVAIDS, via the State of Florida AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and the Broward County Ryan White Part A medication program.
• The Broward County Health Department is the lead agency for Broward County HIV/AIDS Medications, serving patients of various clinics and private physicians alike. Funding from Ryan White Part A and Part B and State AIDS Patient Care enable the pharmacy to provide pharmaceutical care for eligible patients living with HIV/AIDS in a culturally diverse, confidential and sensitive manner.

• FDA Launches Website on Safe Disposal of Used Needles and Other "Sharps" 
• Pediatric medications are available only at the Hughes Health Center Pharmacy at the North Regional Health Center in Pompano Beach. These medications are for Broward Health Clinic Clients.
• Provide medication to the community for Public Health Situations or Emergencies (Ex: meningitis, Hepatitis A- post exposure) in certain situations.
• Pharmacy Services works in close collaboration with local, state, and federal programs regarding Public Health Preparedness.
Pharmacist counseling and drug information is provided to all patients (including the community at large).
Medication is provided by prescription only from our three fully operational, licensed pharmacy locations which are located in a Broward County Health Department Health Center (Hughes Health Center and Fort Lauderdale Health Center).
