5 HIVAIDS. The Florida Department of Health in Broward County is the lead agency for Broward County HIV/AIDS Medications, serving patients of various clinics and private physicians alike via the State of Florida AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and the Broward County Ryan White Part A medication program (Broward Regional Health Planning Council).
Funding from Ryan White Part A and Part B and State AIDS Patient Care enable the pharmacy to provide pharmaceutical care for eligible patients living with HIV/AIDS in a culturally diverse, confidential and sensitive manner.

7 Pediatric medications are available only at the Hughes Health Center Pharmacy at the Paul Hughes Health Center in Pompano Beach. These medications are for Broward Health Clinic Clients.
8 Public Health Preparedness. Pharmacy Services works in close collaboration with local, state, and federal programs regarding Public Health Preparedness.

10 Public Health situations or conditions (Ex: meningitis, Hepatitis A- post exposure) by which our pharmacy may be able to provide prescription medication(s).
11 Rabies Vaccine program (pre and post exposure)

13 Tuberculosis Program
14 Travel Medications. Vaccinations for Travel may be obtained by visiting our “Travel Vaccination Clinic” http://browardchd.org/vaccinations.aspx. Services are available by appointment 954-467-4705.
Oral medications for Travel (including Typhoid Oral Vaccine) are available from our Paul Hughes Health Center Pharmacy (see information below). A prescription from your physician is required.

15 Vaccines For Children (VFC) Immunization program
Pharmacist counseling and drug information is provided to all patients (including the community at large).
