The Broward County Dietetic Association was recognized as the 2008 Partner of the Year for their efforts to reduce childhood obesity by collaborating with Broward County Public Schools through their membership on the District's Nutrition Advisory Committee, providing lectures at schools and annually sponsoring the National Nutrition Month Poster Contest. Through these efforts the Broward County Dietetic Association support the District's Wellness Policy initiatives and impacts the health of thousands of children in our community.
